Spirit Fitness Studio was founded in 2015 as a community orientated organisation, where people from all walks of life were encouraged to take part in group fitness classes.  The ethos being that group exercise should be inclusive for all and without discrimination in the fitness community.  We recognise that physical health and mental wellbeing go hand in hand and we are passionate in delivering on both counts, ensuring that anyone who comes to train with us feels welcomed, included and valued.

We now run over 30 exercise classes six days a week. We do not believe in membership contracts.  We are confident that when people join us they will not look back!  We have classes that meet all different fitness needs and goals.  From the super fit to those who are new to exercising and everyone in between! If you need us to make modifications for you, no problem. If you need to bring the kids, no problem! Our friendly, experienced team are committed to making exercise enjoyable, accessible for all and most importantly - Results Driven!

Whatever challenges you and inspires you to stay active, we want to help you find it. That is why we offer, not only the best group fitness classes in Suffolk, but also the widest range of formats.  Training hard for a triathlon? Seeking after work stress relief? From the fast and furious to the mindful and relaxing, our evolving range of classes offers a broad range of the latest exercise classes available. 

Our weekly class list includes Kettlercise, Insanity, PiYo, P90X, Metafit, Core Control, Pump, Circuit Training, Boxercise, Body Balance, Mandukya Yoga and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). 

PiYo: the results driven yoga class!

 

PiYo combines pilates and yoga moves in a dynamic but low-impact class with fantastic results. This total-body workout stretches and tones, while strengthening the core muscles, helping members to feel stronger, leaner and more relaxed. The perfect interlude in a busy day, PiYo will help you shape up while releasing your daily stresses.

 

Insanity: are you up to the challenge?

 

One of the most challenging workouts you can do, Insanity uses ‘max interval training’ to burn calories at a rate of 1,000 per hour. By working out in a high intensity format members can dramatically increase aerobic fitness levels and reduce their body fat in just a couple of months with regular participation.

 

 

P90X: where personal training meets group fitness

 

P90X is a system of high-intensity workouts based around the concept of muscle confusion.  It conditions the whole body by keeping it guessing with varied weights, reps and exercises.  This strips fat and builds lean muscle. Take a look at our timetable to find class details for this programme, which creator, Tony Horton, promises will get you ‘absolutely ripped!’

 

BodyBalance: The Perfect Combination of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates

 

Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCE is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During BODYBALANCE an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centred... Happy.

 

BodyPump - The Original Barbell Workout!

BODYPUMP is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the moves and techniques, pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

 

Metafit: the 30-minute workout that burns fat for 24 hours!

 

Created by a former Royal Marine Commando, Metafit combines strength training exercises with the latest high-intensity interval training (HIIT) techniques. Metafit is a challenging workout but the effort really pays off: designed to ‘set your metabolism on fire’, members can enjoy impressive results in a short space of time. Want to burn fat, increase your fitness levels and enjoy greater energy? Give it a try!

 

Kettlercise: the workout anyone can do!

 

Kettlercise is a fantastic fun way to tone up and burn fat. Over 30 different Kettlebell exercises are used, ranging in pace and complexity, for a comprehensive workout that tones and sculpts the whole body with an emphasis on the core, glutes, arms and thighs. With a wide range of Kettlebell weights available, everyone can participate, whatever their current fitness level.
